Mats Helgesson has solid managerial and leadership experience from the Swedish Armed Forces, with positions such as Air Force Commander and Flotilla Commander on his CV. He also has extensive operational experience as a fighter pilot on the Viggen and Gripen. Since 2020, Mats has retired from the Armed Forces but remains a major general in the reserve. In addition to his involvement in ACR, Mats Helgesson is also active as a strategic advisor and consultant in the defense and space sector. Chairman of the Swedish Space Agency. Mats joined the ACR board in May 2023.
